The Irish fintech startup "Ubanquity" offers an IT platform that consolidates existing bank data to enhance operational efficiency. As it has reached a mature stage, the company required a professional rebranding, including a new brand name and logo.

Objectives

The Dublin-based fintech startup "Ubanquity" required a professional re-branding, including a new brand name and logo. Collaborating with a long-time creative partner of mine, we established a high-level brand strategy through research and interviews, resulting in the creation of a new basic brand design and a new company name.

Process

After reviewing "Ubanquity" marketing materials, we conducted competitor analyses to define differentiators and opportunities. We created a high-level strategic foundation by distilling the brand’s essence into a mission statement, a value proposition, and claim. Art direction was initiated early to shape the brand visually. Finally, a comprehensive brand book summarised the new brand basics.

Result

All efforts lead to the birth of a new and powerful B2B fintech brand. This brand design-foundation, summarised in a brand book, continues to support the in-house marketing team in their daily work to this day.
